The home of the hunting German Hunting Terrier in Australia (also known as Deutscher jagdterrier or jagdterrier).
Gamejager means Game hunter; which is exactly what we do. At gamejager we don't just talk about hunting our dogs... we do it. Our gallery speaks a thousand words...

Gamejager Kennels is a small ANKC registered kennels that occasionally breeds from our own selected and proven imported European bloodlines. Our mission is to improve (where possible) and maintain the true working ability, conformation and genetics of the Jagd Terrier in Australia.

I regularly hunt wild boar, water buffalo, deer (fallow, chital and sambar), and other exotic game as well as pests such as foxes, rabbits and goats with my Jagd Terriers. I have used them to retrieve on smaller critters as well as find and flush larger game, which is their main job. I have also used my dogs to trail wounded dangerous game such as buffalo, wild scrub bulls and wild boar in the Northern Territory of Australia.

I have been hunting various game all of my life and I know what I want in a hunting companion that can do its job. I have been breeding selected hunting dogs for close to two decades for use on various game. More recently I was introduced to the German Hunting Terrier, which is where I experienced the hunting diversity of the breed. Over the 3 years plus years I have owned and hunted the jagd terrier I have been truly amazed at their natural ability and consistency-, which is why I have imported a female from Europe.
